Derric Salazar

Prior to working at Libertas Academy, Coach Salazar operated a residential remodeling business, worked as a regulatory compliance officer for Kaiser Permanente, and served 17 years in the Army Infantry. While in the Army, he held multiple leadership positions including Senior Drill Sergeant, Drill Sergeant School Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, and Sniper Section Leader. He holds a BA in Intelligence Analysis and Operations from American Military University. He has been married to his wife, Jenna, for over 23 years and they have three children, two of whom currently attend Libertas Academy, and a son who is a recent alumnus.
