Mike Stone

Mike was raised in Cypress, California, where he developed an early passion for Christian youth ministry and basketball. He attended Cypress High School and continued his basketball career at Menlo College. Over the years, he has served as a junior high youth group leader, high school basketball coach, and church summer camp counselor.

Mike began his law enforcement career in 2013, first serving as a patrol officer with a police department in Los Angeles County and later as a detective. He subsequently moved into the investigative side of the criminal justice system and today serves in a supervisory leadership role within local law enforcement, where he oversees criminal investigations and investigative personnel.

His more than a decade of experience in law enforcement, investigations, supervision, and public safety brings valuable perspective to the Libertas Academy Board in the areas of leadership, risk management, safety, and organizational responsibility. Combined with his background in athletics and youth ministry, Mike is especially passionate about protecting the well-being of students and encouraging young people to grow in character, discipline, and faith.

Mike and his wife, Jenna, married in 2014 and have two children who attend Libertas Academy.
