Jenna Salazar

Jenna and her husband of 24 years, Derric, are California natives who have called Calaveras County home since 2017. They have three children, two of whom are Libertas Academy alumni.

An eight-year Army veteran, Jenna began her career as an entrepreneur after leaving military service, founding a marketing and advertising agency while raising her family. Today, she serves as CEO of her company and is involved with her husband in additional family business ventures. Her professional experience includes organizational leadership, strategic planning, financial management, business development, and building and leading teams.

Jenna also brings extensive nonprofit and community governance experience to the Libertas Board. She has served on multiple Boards of Directors in education, business, and community organizations and was selected to serve on a municipal Charter Review Committee. Her years of board service have developed a particular interest in effective governance, organizational health, and the responsibility of boards to steward mission and resources well.

As a Libertas parent and Board member, Jenna is deeply committed to the long-term strength of the school and to classical Christian education. She is passionate about helping ensure that Libertas remains faithful to its mission while building the governance, leadership, and financial foundation necessary to serve families for generations to come.
